***National Night Out 2014***
For the third year in a row the Forest County Sheriff's Office in conjunction with the Crandon Police Department hosted a
National Night Out event in the parking lot of the Forest County Sheriff's Office. The event is designed to strengthen Police
relations with the community. Once again the event was huge success. There were lots of prizes the kids had a chance to win. Prizes included pedal
bikes, t-shirts, candy and a over night stay in a water park just to name a few.
Something new to the event was driving simulators which gave the kids a chance to learn the dangers of distracted driving. The kids also had a chance to dunk a Deputy in the dunk tank.
The Wisconsin DNR also participated in National Night Out 2014. Wardens setup an Archery stand giving the kids a chance to shoot a bow and arrow.
The Forest County Sheriff's Office and the Crandon Police Department would like to thank everyone who participated in helping make this event a success and we hope to see you again next year.
